This international Expo is for construction machinery, building material, and construction vehicles & will provide the construction sector with a professional platform for networking, investment, and the exchange of ideas and information.Uganda has witnessed an impressive real estate boom that has changed the region’s skylines, transforming its landscape. Uganda is expected to register a compound annual growth of 6.4%, the construction industry contributes over 12% of Uganda’s gross domestic product (GDP) and has witnessed steady growth for the last few years and despite the recent upsurge in inflation, the sector has remained on a steady path of growth and development.
Why Uganda
Uganda and the East African region are growing steadily in both population and GDP. Uganda ranks highly across many key business climate indicators for inward investors. Uganda Imports from India is around US$ 990 Million annually and the construction industry itself covers 20% of the total imports from India. The government of Uganda has allocated 16.2% of it’s budget to road infrastructure which is the largest allocation of any sector. The Govt. is focusing on infrastructure development through means of modernized railways lines, World-class highways and residential projects, high rise buildings and many more.
